At the age of 9 years I accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Union county.

 

 At the age of 15 years I surrendered to God's call into the Music Ministry. Shortly thereafter I began serving my first church as Minister of Music.  At the age of 16, November 23, 1968, I was ordained to the gospel ministry by the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, New Albany, MS.

 

After graduating from the New Albany High School, New Albany, MS in 1970, I began my studies at Blue Mountain College, Blue Mountain, MS and graduated in 1974 with the Bachelor of Music degree.  After serving the First Baptist Chuch Louisville, MS for three and one half years, I began my studies at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated in May of 1979 with the Master of Church Music degree.  I have also done extensive studies in Religious Education and Counseling.

 

It has been a great journey over the past 48 years.  I have had the awesome opportunities to have been privileged to do so many wonderful things, meet so many wonderful people and to gain so many new friends to whom I shall forever be grateful and cherish.  It has been a joy and pleasure to serve churches in MS, LA, FL and TN.  I am so thankful for all the love, support and encouragement that has been shown to me and my family throughout the years.  I have been blessed beyond measure in trying to the best of my ability to serve through one of the greatest areas of ministry in the church, church music. 

 

Now, I look forward to serving the Lord as He sees fit in different areas of the music  ministry.  If I can be of service to anyone I would consider it an honor if you would let me know.  I will be available for part-time, interim, revivals, concerts, special programs/events, choral workshops, vocal coaching, and anything that would magnify the Lord's kingdom in helping in your ministry.
